Tester (Automation)

Are you looking for a new job as a software tester? To expand our team, we are looking for a new colleague with experience in functional and automated testing. Your (future) colleagues will teach you everything about Cocon, our software for fiber optic registration. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend training sessions and earn valuable certifications.

Our developers continuously work on improving and optimizing our applications. They are professionals with years of experience, but of course, they can sometimes overlook something. This needs to be tested! We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, who thoroughly tests our applications before they are rolled out to our customers. As a Tester, you will play a crucial role in improving our products and work with various teams to continuously enhance the quality of our software. Additionally, we are in the process of setting up automated testing in, among other things, the CI/CD pipeline. If you have experience with functional and automated testing and align with the points below, we are looking for you!

Your Role

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for both frontend and backend applications
  • Document and execute test scenarios and test cases based on functional and technical specifications
  • Contribute to the progress of the sprint within the SCRUM teams
  • Monitor test coverage and analyze test results to identify potential issues early.

Your Profile

  • Good communication skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in automating tests
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with API testing, CI/CD Pipelines, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#/.NET, and Agile methodologies is a plus
