DevOps Engineer

Your role

As a DevOps Engineer at Speer IT, you will have various responsibilities and tackle a wide range of technical challenges. You are essential for an efficient software development lifecycle and a stable production environment, making an important contribution to the success of Speer IT and its innovative products.

You have experience in CI/CD and manage and optimise the CI/CD infrastructure with which new versions of the Speer IT products are rolled out. This includes, for example, the automated provisioning of a stable and scalable cloud infrastructure. You advise developers on infrastructure issues and develop and manage tools that help streamline the development process.

You are motivated, curious and like to keep up with the latest developments in your field. In addition, you are adaptable and a pleasant person to work with.

This is what you will bring

  • Understanding of and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, Octopus).

  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).

  • Strong in (Powershell) scripting.

  • Experience with managing Linux environments.

  • Experience with setting up dashboards and monitoring.

  • Strong analytical skills and good at problem solving.

  • Experience with (infrastructure) automation.

  • Hands-on attitude.

  • Experience with working in agile teams.

  • At least three years of relevant experience in the field.

  • HBO working and thinking level
